Tell us about your background?
“I have a background in chemistry as a civil engineer from KTH. In addition to that, I have also studied project management at Karlstad University. Here at Calamo, I have also received advanced training specifically in internal auditing.”
Which parts of your education do you feel have been most useful in your role at Calamo?
“I would say that my educational background in chemistry and project management has come in handy in the role of quality engineer. Additionally, I have benefited from my previous work experience in the chemical industry where quality and environmental work are important aspects.”
What does a typical day at Calamo look like for you?
“It varies a lot depending on what is happening. It could involve preparations for upcoming internal audits. I also work on projects with a focus on quality and sustainability, handle deviations, and have contact with suppliers.”
What is the most interesting part of your job?
“The most stimulating part is working on quality and sustainability projects with the aim of developing Calamo. I also find it interesting to strive for continuous improvements through internal audits.”
What is the best thing about working at Calamo?
“The non-prestige approach and that there is a good quality and environmental mindset at Calamo. We always support each other in finding solutions to become even better.”
