This provides complete control over quality and lead times across the entire supply chain. Calamo accommodates high demands and variations in demand by utilizing multiple surface treatment facilities, which further contributes to short lead times. All products come with a product certificate, allowing for traceability and compliance with customer requirements.

All surface treatment, quality control, and storage processes are handled by Calamo:

• Raw material acquisitions are conducted in accordance with purchase specifications, ensuring that the product meets high requirements.
• Incoming inspections cover various aspects, including the chemical analysis of the steel, tolerance assessment, surface examination, labeling, packaging, and material certification. All these details are recorded in the business system.
• The surface treatment process is tailored to each product and thoroughly documented.
• All our process steps are closely monitored, analyzed, and adjusted as needed. Our employees work in accordance with controlled regulations.
• Storage takes place in our temperature-controlled indoor warehouse, and deliveries are carried out on a first-in, first-out (FIFO) basis.
• Depending on the product, the tubes are protected with nylon film, PE plugs, and single or double PE socks
• Tubes are delivered in well-protected and treated wooden packaging, approved for export.
